The Wolf-Blooded Room Mate

Alias: Hunter
Seeming: Beast
Kith: Hunterheart
Virtue: Charity
Vice: Envy
Court: N/A

Occupation: Gas Station Attendant
Apparent Age: 19

The wildness that infuses a Beast gives her a supernatural affinity with animals. A Beast gains the benefit of the 8 again rule when using the Animal Ken Skill, and receives a free Speciality for the one animal that most reflects the Beast’s seeming. That same wild nature gives a Beast a powerful personal magnetism. A Beast’s player can spend points of Glamour to add to dice pools involving Presence and Composure. Each point of Glamour spent adds one die to one dice pool.

Although the Beasts regained their consciousness when they came through the Hedge, their time as beings of thoughtless instinct has taken its toll on each of them, and most find it very hard to make use of academic or trained skills. A Beast’s player suffers a -4 dice untrained penalty when trying to use a Mental skill in which the character has no dots. Further, although Beasts can be very clever indeed, they’re out of practice making those leaps of ingenuity that so characterize human genius. A Beast’s player doesn’t re-roll 10s when using a dice pool involving Intelligence.

Like the wolf his Fae Mein resembles, Hunter loves to wrestle, hates being on his own, and is fiercely loyal to his friends. He’s most content when he has someone telling him what to do, but there are few people he trusts enough to take orders from. He’s a very generous soul and hates to see anyone go without anything it’s in his power to provide, which means that he can be quite easy to take advantage of. He can also be quite possessive of his friends, and is prone to sulking when he feels he’s being neglected.

Hunter has been living in Kirkland Lake for about a year now. He works as a gas station attendant at the Macs on the far end of town, and spends his free time playing MMOs, snuggling with his girlfriend, and spending him with his pet husky, Sugar. He originally arrived in town with three other changelings –Jackie Fangs, Whiteside, and Alpha- but an overzealous attempt to harvest Blood Moss from the Reaper Deer in the local hedge ended up getting them killed a few months ago. He’s mentioned that the three of them escaped their keeper together, and that they spent their durance in Arcadia as members of the same wolf pack, but doesn’t really like talking about them.
